Jeep Safari In Jim Corbett National Park for Dehradun City guests

From the Chaos of Dehradun City to the Sounds of the Jungle: The Ultimate Jim Corbett Safari Guide

Are you tired of the congestion, the pollution, and the city life in Dehradun City?

It’s time to swap the honking cars for the sight of the Spotted Deer. It’s time to escape the concrete of Dehradun City for the towering Sal trees of Uttarakhand.

Welcome to Corbett Online Booking. We are a native safari planner in Ramnagar (Jim Corbett), but we focus in serving guests coming specifically from Dehradun City. We understand that when you come this far, you don't just want a "drive"—you want an experience.

Whether you are arranging a vacation getaway or catching a transport to get to us, here is your ultimate guide to booking the ideal Jeep Safari.

The Route: Getting to Us from Dehradun City

If driving: The drive from Dehradun City is picturesque but can be tiring. We recommend departing early in the morning to get to Ramnagar by mid-day.

If taking a Train or Flight: Once you land at Ramnagar Station or Pantnagar Airport, don't bother about local transport. We can arrange a pick-up to take you straight to your hotel or the jungle entry.

  • Tip: The perfect schedule for visitors from Dehradun City is usually a 2 Night / 3 Day trip to maximize your possibility of finding the Tiger.

Queries for Dehradun City Travelers

Q: Can I drive my personal vehicle (SUV/Sedan) inside the park?
A: No. Your own cars are not allowed in the core zones (Bijrani, Dhikala, etc.) for security. You must shift into our registered Gypsy.

Q: We are a group of 8 people from Dehradun City. Can we fit in one Jeep?
A: The rule is 6 adults + 2 children (below 12 years) per Gypsy. If you are 8 adults, you will definitely need to book two Gypsies.

Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: Since you are traveling all the way from Dehradun City, you cannot risk "walk-in" bookings. Permits get booked weeks in advance. We advise booking at least 30 days prior to your arrival.

Q: Is it safe for couples?
A: Yes. Jim Corbett is one of the safest places to visit in India. Our staff are trusted professionals who focus on your safety.
