Jeep Safari In Jim Corbett National Park for Jaisalmer visitors

From the Hustle of Jaisalmer to the Roar of the Jungle: The Ultimate Jim Corbett Safari Guide

Are you weary of the jams, the noise, and the city life in Jaisalmer?

It’s time to exchange the honking cars for the sound of the Jungle. It’s time to ditch the skyline of Jaisalmer for the green Sal trees of Uttarakhand.

Welcome to Corbett Online Booking. We are a resident safari planner in Ramnagar (Jim Corbett), but we specialize in welcoming visitors visiting specifically from Jaisalmer. We get it that when you travel this far, you don't just want a "ride"—you want an adventure.

Whether you are arranging a weekend excursion or catching a train to get to us, here is your ultimate guide to securing the perfect Jeep Safari.

The Drive: Getting to Us from Jaisalmer

If road tripping: The route from Jaisalmer is scenic but can be lengthy. We suggest leaving at dawn to reach Ramnagar by lunchtime.

If coming by Rail or Flight: Once you arrive at Ramnagar Station or Pantnagar Airport, don't fret about cabs. We can schedule a car to take you straight to your resort or the safari gate.

  • Tip: The best schedule for folks from Jaisalmer is usually a 2 Night / 3 Day tour to increase your odds of seeing the Tiger.

FAQs for Jaisalmer Travelers

Q: Can I drive my own car (SUV/Sedan) inside the park?
A: No. Private vehicles are prohibited in the core zones (Bijrani, Dhikala, etc.) for safety reasons. You must transfer into our authorized Gypsy.

Q: We are a group of 8 people from Jaisalmer. Can we fit in one Jeep?
A: The forest rule is 6 adults + 2 children (below 12 years) per Gypsy. If you are 8 adults, you will definitely need to book two Gypsies.

Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: Since you are coming all the way from Jaisalmer, you cannot gamble on "walk-in" bookings. Permits sell out weeks in advance. We recommend booking at least 30 days prior to your arrival.

Q: Is it safe for couples?
A: Yes. Jim Corbett is one of the best tourist destinations in India. Our staff are trusted professionals who value your safety.
