Jeep Safari In Jim Corbett National Park for Mumbai City travelers

From the City Life of Mumbai City to the Call of the Jungle: The Ultimate Jim Corbett Safari Guide

Are you weary of the gridlock, the din, and the city life in Mumbai City?

It’s time to exchange the city lights for the chirping of the Wild. It’s time to forget the concrete of Mumbai City for the towering Sal trees of Uttarakhand.

Welcome to Corbett Online Booking. We are a native tour operator in Ramnagar (Jim Corbett), but we excel in managing travelers traveling specifically from Mumbai City. We get it that when you travel this far, you don't just want a "ride"—you want an story.

Whether you are arranging a holiday drive or catching a train to arrive at us, here is your detailed guide to securing the perfect Jeep Safari.

The Drive: Reaching Us from Mumbai City

If road tripping: The route from Mumbai City is picturesque but can be tiring. We propose leaving early in the morning to get to Ramnagar by lunchtime.

If taking a Train or Flight: Once you arrive at Ramnagar Station or Pantnagar Airport, don't fret about local transport. We can schedule a taxi to take you straight to your resort or the safari gate.

  • Tip: The best itinerary for tourists from Mumbai City is usually a short package to improve your chances of seeing the Tiger.

Why People from Mumbai City Choose Us

You have many options to buy online. Why go with a local agency like Corbett Online Booking?

  1. No Third Parties: You aren't talking to a remote agent. You are connecting with us, directly at the park gates.
  2. Permit Management: Traveling all the way from Mumbai City, the last thing you want is to turn up and find out permits are unavailable. We get your permits before you even prepare your bags.
  3. Resort + Safari Combos: Since you need stay, we provide bundled rates that are more affordable than buying hotels and safaris alone online.

FAQs for Mumbai City Visitors

Q: Can I drive my own car (SUV/Sedan) inside the park?
A: No. Private vehicles are not permitted in the main zones (Bijrani, Dhikala, etc.) for safety reasons. You must move into our registered Gypsy.

Q: We are a group of 8 people from Mumbai City. Can we fit in one Jeep?
A: The forest rule is 6 adults + 2 children (below 12 years) per Gypsy. If you are 8 adults, you will absolutely need to hire two Gypsies.

Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: Since you are traveling all the way from Mumbai City, you cannot gamble on "walk-in" bookings. Permits get booked weeks in advance. We advise booking at least 30 days prior to your arrival.

Q: Is it safe for families?
A: Absolutely. Jim Corbett is one of the safest tourist destinations in India. Our staff are trusted professionals who focus on your safety.
